The International Mine Warfare Technology Symposium series is the only event solely focused on naval mine warfare and associated technologies. As with past symposia, this conference will be unclassified with foreign participation expected and welcome.
Naval and Industry plenary speakers will address a broad range of topics that address current and future mine warfare technology requirements. Break-out sessions will showcase basic scientific and emerging technology research focused on solving the challenges of the undersea environment. Specialized sessions are focused on platform-based mine warfare operations, unmanned systems applications, advanced undersea warfare systems, enabling technologies, homeland defense operations, environmental research and development, operational data management, communications, and other related areas.

The general Symposium will be conducted at an unclassified level. Should the need for follow-on discussion arise from any presentation, all appropriate measures to ensure the protection of intellectual property and classified information shall be the responsibility of the authors of the material or information being presented, in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the presenting persons' parent organizations. These include, but are not limited to, pre-publication review, copyright and other intellectual property rights and information security restrictions.
Most of the sessions will be open to media. While there is no charge for media to attend virtually there will be a charge for all in-person attendance. We highly recommend pre-registration in order to allow for timely access.
Attendees: Cancellations must be received on or before May 1 for a refund. All notifications on or after May 2, 2024 are non-refundable. If you go from Virtual Only to In-Person registration you will be charged the difference. No refunds will be issued when you switch from In-Person to Virtual Only registration.
Corporate: All payments are due upon receipt of invoice. Once assigned a booth number and/or invoiced you are committed to participate. If for any reason you need to cancel, 50% of the total invoiced will be due. If you cancel after 2 April 2024, you will be liable for 100% of the total invoiced.
