The Areté Maritime Systems Sector focuses on US Navy and commercial opportunities with unmanned and manned solutions for airborne, surface and underwater sensor systems. The design, development and production work occurs at our Arizona (Tucson), Florida (Destin), Colorado (Longmont) and newly opened California (San Diego) facilities supporting US Navy mine countermeasure systems such as the Airborne Laser Mine Detection System (ALMDS), the AN/AQS-20A Electro-Optical Identification sensor, the MK-18 camera with Video Automatic Target Recognition (VATR) technology and the Coastal Battlefield Reconnaissance and Analysis (COBRA) payload on the MQ8B Fire Scout VTUAV.
